Last year is\/was different than this year, which is good, sort of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finished feeding a monkey, no more bananas for Bonzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As soon as that monkey was done, a Kong-sized gorilla popped up, and demanded a whole bushel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like most things \u2026 it\u2019s my own fault, but still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pointless struggle of modern life is simply trying<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Truly wears on one\u2019s nerves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n And there is absolutely no legitimate reason for the mere fact of living to be this difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I mean \/ I get it. Masters of mankind want the masses unhappy and burdened. I think I read\/saw\/heard something about how the ruling\/luxury\/parasitic class needs to keep the working\/laboring\/maintaining class balanced \u2026 fed just enough to keep working, and just hungry enough to be afraid to stop.\u00a0 No revolution for you<\/em>, prole \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n If I\u2019m not mistaken (prolly am, but whatevs) the French Revolution was the product of the rich taking far too much from the poor, to the point where the poor rose up and ate the rich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cake and heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kind of like that influencer (to do what, exactly?) telling her \u2026 followers? Minions? Sycophants? To just drop everything and go to Bali, already. Like, duh!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ummm \u2026 people are working 40 hours a week and still living out of their cars. Out of touch much?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Saw an article about a guy who lived in his car and did ridesharing \u2026 his car got towed for too many parking tickets so he lost his job and his house in one fell swoop, and couldn\u2019t afford to get either back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019m not unhappy, per se, just \u2026 discontented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Most of the time I\u2019m exactly, perfectly content(ed), but the end of the year has me a bit morose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The habitrail of modern existence does that to a plebe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ehhh \u2026 Half makes sure I can live in a house, and drive Truck, and buy stuff, so not all bad.
