Too late, like most things, I found out that Earl wore a faith with breadth, width, depth, and height {Ephesians 3:18<\/em>} so likely, right now, he is in the arms of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How cool is that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Man had demons, tho\u2019 \u2026 maybe even his own personal imp. My understanding is that he fought addictions for years but that man never lost his faith. And he knew that if God brought him to it, He would bring him through it.\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n After using drugs(?) \/ alcohol(?) for years, he got clean, stayed that way for some years, relapsed, then had a crushing heart attack that finally killed him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some people interpret his death, in that way, as a failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Absolute success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He passed from the worldly with knowledge of God, and had accepted Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior \u2026 lots of videos online as his testimony, his proof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n First law of thermodynamics \u2014 energy (in a closed system at least) is neither created nor destroyed, but merely changes form \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n I believe the body qualifies as a closed system, and something<\/em> \u2026 some form of energy \u2026 powers the body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sooo \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the human body is powered by energy<\/p>\n\n\n\n And that energy is neither created nor destroyed<\/p>\n\n\n\n But only converted into a different format,<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then the moment that energy stops powering the body,<\/p>\n\n\n\n It must change into something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And exist elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For eternity, \u2018cuz it\u2019s never destroyed, see \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Funny: science (first law\/therm) teaches us, quite plainly, that whatever energy humans use to \u2026 well, be alive, must continue after the death of the body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In perpetuity?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Soul, meet Spirit?<\/p>\n\n\n\n I don\u2019t think we\u2019ve all been paying attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I don\u2019t think we\u2019ve all been giving the proper focus to the right things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Debt monkey notwithstanding debt monkey is some nonsense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, the Lord tells us, The borrower is the servant of the lender {Prov. 22:7} and that it is better not to vow, than to vow and not pay {Ecc. 5:5<\/em>} HOWEVER, eternal life (flip side: eternal damnation) is a weee bit more important than some credit card debt \u2026 but we\u2019ll still do our part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n So, back to Earl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Earl had a lot of fame and fortune, and never lost sight of the source \u2013 the Source \u2013 of it all.
