Kids will disabuse you of THAT notion of the goodness of you doublequick.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to this whole breeding experience I\/me\/we were under the impression that, yeh, mostly all right.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not perfect, not a total psychopath, somewhere comfortably on the not-completely-horrible side of the spectrum, somewhere in the in-between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been mentioned that Half works in the world, whereas the other half can work from home (whooo-HOOOO TELEWORK don\u2019t need no stinking office hours<\/em> psssah ALL OVER THAT\u2014wait, Zoom?) so many theKid responsibilities fall upon muh-wah.\u00a0 Not the original plan (men plan and GOD laughs<\/em> and laughs <\/em>and laughs<\/em>), but hey \u2013 life so theKid has new school spot (old school spot was great but not all the way so here comes new) and TODAY forgot the water bottle.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Did me mention both old\/new school = private?\u00a0 Ka-CHING all up in this piece \u2026 ohyes because public schools merely warehouse the younglings and care not for their my-ynds digress)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Got to have the personalized water bottle because \u2026 there is no water, anywhere, once one leaves the house.\u00a0 At least not at the schools.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I geddit.\u00a0 Fine.\u00a0 But that requires me\/us\/we to be responsible.\u00a0 And plan the day. Which doesn\u2019t always happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, again, children are the worst, because all the personal imperfections are on full display.\u00a0 Thought I had that handled NOPE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, today spent ruminating on the awfulness that is me because theKid will dehydrate and blow away to dust and then must will have to explain to Half what happened to Half\u2019s theKid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TheKid was great, as always.  Whatever.  But rather than indulge the day with selfish pursuits, must engage in recriminations and self-blame.  Because theKid, and responsible for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ewww \u2026 everyday?\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What, prey tale, does this have to do with managing monkeys and debt satisfaction? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not a thing.  Well, sort of a thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids are the worst thing if you prefer to remain steeped in self-delusion or, want to save\/manage\/maintain your money (private schools ka-CHING again and more).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just a reminder that the decision to have children is always, consistently, constantly, a mistake.\u00a0 Forget about perpetuating the species \u2026 those little critters COST.\u00a0 However, they are not the mistake, but you are, thinking that you are qualified to be a parent (not Other Person You, but me you).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So reminder:  If haven\u2019t, don\u2019t.  If have, do it better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
