Spent a ridiculous amount of cash on stuff for theKid and theKid deserves every cent spent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We live in a place with a public school located across the street \u2026 like, walking in house shoes and PJs close. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And every weekday morning around 8 and afternoon around three we get to see the \u2026 quality of modern parenting flood the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ah, no. theKid will stay private, thankyouverymuch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gotta be elitist when it comes to education, particularly since public school refuses to admit GOD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What a mistake that is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I mean, I get it. Separation of church and state. Establishment of religion. First Amendment basics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baby with the bathwater? Anyone? Anyone? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Got to ask if vaccinated, so \u2026 why not ask re faith of the household? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If Christian, keep GOD all up in there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If Muslim, go with Allah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If Jewish, no Saturday field trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If Hindi(u\/), bring a cow, I guess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If nothing, then \u2026 nothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But at least have one class that teaches the fundamentals of religion to young kids so they get a background to work with, \u2018cuz right now they\u2019re just walking on spiritual wires with no net.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even atheists have morals. Based on what, exactly, is unclear \u2013 so where does right\/wrong come from? It\u2019s innate. YehOK but how\/where<\/em>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Little kids light fires in closets \u2018cuz they know they\u2019re not supposed to do that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Even those two British kids (10 at the time) who killed three-year-old Jamie Bulger lured him away from his mother (to rub paint in his eyes and stone him to death) \u2018cuz they knew they weren\u2019t supposed to do those things. They\u2019re out now, have been for a while, with new legal identities and everything but will go to their graves as the murderers of a child. <\/p>\n\n\n\n So where does that knowledge of right and wrong come from? {Romans 2:15<\/em>}<\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s why insanity is so hard to prove ALL THOUGH that woman in Texas who drowned her five kids because she said GOD told her to (HE did no such thing but maybe?) did get a new trial because the crah-hay-hay-zee but I digress\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n Legal insanity is the lack of knowledge between right and wrong, and concealment of wrongdoing is, in and of itself, knowledge of wrong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Seems these days the world has gone mad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Up = Down<\/p>\n\n\n\n Right = Wrong<\/p>\n\n\n\n Man = Woman, although, funnily enough, the opposite argument has not been offered \u2026 no one is arguing transpersons identifying male should be allowed to compete in men\u2019s sports \u2026 perhaps it\u2019s all those pesky biological differences \u2026 onward!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sex = Relationship; kind of but not actually because these days folks exchange fluids before names (shivers)<\/p>\n\n\n\n A little moral teaching and instruction could help reverse the trend but methinks, somehow, someone will dispute, What is moral?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Funny \u2013 GOD made it so each finger can serve a reminder \u2026 Thou shalt<\/em> \u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And \u2014 easily \u2014 the moral law of the Bible transcends any religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe we owe a debt to our children to teach each one.
