No visit to the ER\/urgent care (yaaaaay insurance!<\/em>) theKid\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Half owned the damage, claimed total fault, made apologies, hugs all around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Children are completely at the mercy of their parents. \u00a0Unless\/until the damage is bad enough for the state to step in, children are truly the most vulnerable \u2026 entirely subject to the errors of their parent’s’ ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Parental moods, the daily engage, overarching financial responsibility (heh<\/em>) \u2026 who honesty believes he\/she\/it\/other is legitimately qualified to manage all of that for another person who is wholly-entirely-completely dependent upon them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Methinks if people had a serious sit down with eachself to reflect on the necessary qualifications to successfully parent, fewer \u2014 if any \u2014 children would be born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And yet it\u2019s so easy<\/em> \u2026 sexytimes is funtimes then kidtimes then oops \u2026 now what have we done do we have here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Methinks me read somewhere that contraception, including elective sterilization, is actually preventative care. Now there’s a good idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Women are medicated at rates never before seen, and I\u2019m sure some of those women are mothers raising kids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Many men these days feel disengaged from the parenting process, because (heaven forfend) if the relationship or eegats<\/em> \u201csituationship\u201d (why oh why Lord?) doesn\u2019t work out, then the scorned woman sometimes will use the children as weapons of male destruction \u2026 child support jail, parental alienation, false accusations \u2026 the list goes on.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The point?<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you (yes You other person you) are of childbearing age, propensity, and ability \u2026 think twice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Why would any kid want you as a parent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your nonexistent child owns your debt of introspection.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Had I \u2026 would I still have theKid? That singular source of purpose, light and joy in this dreary, dank and dungeonous (I know but it should be) meat prison that is my life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only GOD knows. {Galatians 3:26<\/em>}<\/p>\n\n\n\n But still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At least I would have had the foresight to ask the question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n And lived my life in preparation of welcoming another into it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018Cuz theKid gets to suffer my mistakes.
