Mayhaps (or mayhaps not) mentioned ‘round these parts that Half predicted the burning phoenix sequel to the Orange Menace.

See, Half works with/is exposed to the knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing standard bearer of the typical Trump voter, and Half said (when the Half-Not was announced following the pending demise of the CryptKeeper) “No way.”  As in, “no way” she is getting elected … as in “no way” will she sit in the Oval Office as Commander-in-Chief … as in “no way” will a certain type of ‘Murican allow a woman, and a half-bred woman at that, to rule.  “No way” will that happen.  Not in America.

Howard Stern said something similar … locker rooms and dinner parties / access limited.

Half also predicted the Orange Menace would beat the last female Dimocratic nominee, and also said he would be a two-termer … but for our mini-plague, prolly woulda beat the CryptKeeper, universal dislike be dammed by beavers.

So, recently asked Half for Half’s predictions for the next few years, the foreseeable future as it t’were, and (in true Half fashion) Half predicted things will go one of two ways:  either it will be a complete clusterbuck or it’s gonna be great.

Wow.  Way to hedge those bets.  The Sage of Half.

And not to give the impression there was any real support for the Half-Not in this household, oh-ho-ho-no … just felt that the lesser of the two evils should have prevailed.  As opposed to pumpkin Emperor Palpatine on horseback hoverboard with access to the nuclear codes.  Really did not see that coming.

Oh, and members of the Ice Cream Social are getting text messages instructing them to report for duty on nearby plantations for cotton-picking … to bring trashbags and sturdy shoes. 

But methought this was post-racial ‘Murrica?  Silly wabbit.

Also read an … article? … opinion piece? … blogsnot? … that quoted MLK, who believed that the ultimate objective of racism is genocide, to which must (while wholly respecting the dead) whole-heartedly disagree.

While have no doubt as to the veracity and sagacity of MLK’s view … based on some costly yearly book-learnin’ commemorialized by a piece of paper … medare say the ultimate objective of racism (i.e., use of race to justify/validate atrocity) is servitude … absolute, perpetual, inescapable. 

Some enslavers told the enslaved that their condition would continue in heaven … that even death offered no freedom, no end, no peace.

Ewww [shudder-cringe].  There’s even an enslaver’s version of the Bible, edited to remove the parts re a worker being owed his wages, that slaves shall be set free every seven years, etc., etc., yadda, yadda, yadda, whatevs/whatfors, and focused on the enslaved being obedient to the enslaver.  “‘Cuz GOD said so.”  Whatevs redux.  

It’s understandable that many people have a problem with the Bible … because men/mankind are the problem.  Cafeteria Christians, lukewarm on Christ.  Taking the parts they like and disregarding the rest … well, GOD addressed that too.  {Deuteronomy 4:2}

And it is sad but not surprising that the worst of men is revealed when the worst of men ascends to power. 

“Your body, my choice.  Forever.”  Indeed.  Methinks if Gen Z men are having trouble finding relationships with women now just imagine in a year or so.  And Project 2025 not only wants a national abortion ban but obstacles to birth control as well? 

Women of breeding age might just keep their toys and stay home. 
Take some self-defense classes and buy some pew-pews and maybe a chastity belt or two. 
Half and other half got some issues but weez together, not looking and not leaving, so there’s that.

AND and, in reality, it’s only two years.  The House turns over with a two-year election cycle, so if the Rethuglicans aren’t careful in their overthrow of democracy, the people might just stop them.

Probably won’t.  George Carlin was 100% correct in his observation that those who represent us are us.

(Shudder-cringe) … so, we are doomed.  Good to know. 

But we knew that anyway.
