Buncha famous folks dropping like flies here recently … Mr. Blonde / Sidewinder / [“Sil” looking to get Press(ed)], Theo Huxtable, bat-eating Ozzy, Terry “little bit racist” Bollea, the guy that absolutenightmarehorrorshow (but really good NGL) “Wolf Creek” was based on, that bombshell from that show from last century … watzerbuhkit … “WKRP in Cincinnati” …
The most impactful, however, methinks, is currently having his testicles basted&roasted / anus gaped&seared over low&slow flames in the HottestEverLoneliestLevel is Edwin Feulner, Jr., one of the founders of the Heritage Foundation and an architect of Project 2025.
Here’s hoping his eternal soul will experience misery forever and ever for all of infinity.
Plus 1000 years.
Methinks he deserves that.
Bit of backstory: since 1973, the Heritage Foundation – as a right-wing strategic mission, has sought to constrain power solely within the parasitic horsemen class, and divest absolutely everyone else of any joy, peace, or freedom.
Now, they won’t say that, because that is unpopular. And undemocratic. And unAmerican.
But that is exactly what they, and it, is.
Project 2025 is designed to break the federal government, complain that it is broken, then privatize every function that aids in maintaining a civilized society and thereby crippling representative government … eliminating reasonable business regulation … blatant disregard for any respect of persons, their privacy, and their property … emasculating fair&functional court systems … eviscerating the social safety net.
Basically, the idea is a return to the feudal system but replace landed lords and serfs with corporations and wage slaves.
Methinks … let them have it. Let the plethora of offspring sprouting from the loins of the oilymuskyfunk work in his family’s stolen emerald mines. Let Ballerina Farm pick cotton and harvest crops. Let the Quiverfull broods die in the coming AI robot cataclysm of war.
No thanks. {2 Corinthians 6:14}
Great book by Matt Stoller, Goliath something something, discusses how for the last 5,000 years empires have always fallen because of the concentration and consolidation of wealth and power within a very small and limited (and greedy, and stupid, and myopic) group of people, who finally bring society/civilization to the point of self-destruction, and then the process starts all over again.
The “masters of mankind” are hellbent on ruining it for everyone … but they will pay their debt … likely not in this world but definitely in the next. This ain’t all, folks.
Just for instance: after Rome fell, agrarian societies rose again and ordinary people actually did better on a day-to-day basis without the burden of an oppressive nation-state … comparatively.
The major difference in present times is globalization, and the fact that every society is tied to others, such that when one fails, they likely will all fall down. Like dominoes.
McCarthy’s The Road is likely prescient, albeit cannibalism to be much more commonplace.
Just don’t eat the brains.
