Slaves to the Rhythm (of Life)

Found a delicious bit of foolishness recently … the innernets is truly the gift that just keeps giving.

Don’t want to insult the Ice Cream People, but this guy was … mistaken, uninformed, and unprepared.  Not a good look.

Apparently, this person — who advertised himself as an Ice Cream Person — embraces the demonic, satanic, and Luciferian because he would like to discount/disregard that GOD has a chosen people, and signed off on slavery.

Wo.  So wrong.  Where start.

OK so firstly, yes GOD has a chosen people because the vast majority of humans in the time of Abraham (née Abram) were heathens … then, as now.  Worshipping bulls and clay statutes and fish and such.

But Abram was faithful to the Lord, and obeyed God.  Without question.  So God rewarded Abram with a new name — Abraham — and a great nation  … the chosen people.

Now, notwithstanding Ye (mentally ill, don’t forget) and Kyrie Irving (dunno his excuse), the physical appearance of folks in those ancient days is subject to debate … can be fairly certain they weren’t blond or Asian but outside of that, the jury is still out.

Nevertheless, GOD chose a particular people because (methinks) Abraham was faithful, and certain folks in his bloodline were stubborn enough to maintain their culture/history/beliefs even in the face of unimaginable challenge.

After all, the Hebrew spoken today is the same Hebrew spoken when they crossed the Red Sea.

And to my knowledge, nobody current speaks Sumerian.  Just sayin’ …

So, yes, GOD has a chosen people, my foolish internet friend, because they were the faithful.

OK so next … slavery.

Ewww.

But!

Slavery has existed in all human societies … different names (I see you, serf … I see you, indentured servant nobutthat’sdifferentnothat’snotthesame), different places (even the word “slave” originates from Slav because the whitest whites owned the labor/person of less-white whites digress not really) and different forms … in Greco-Roman societies, a slave was a symbol of wealth (you got ‘em after you made it) but in the Americas became the embodiment of it (needed ‘em to get rich … big difference) so evaluating the institution of slavery from the perspective of the modern Ice Cream Person is an uninformed fallacy.

Slaves had masters (see again: masters of mankind) and were expected to follow the directives of their masters as all men were to follow the directives of Christ.  {Psalms 123:2}

The understanding is always that, while some may control/direct the activities of life, none control the afterlife but GOD.

The debt we owe to GOD … same as the debt children owe to their parents.
Life is debt, repaid by living morally, decently, and with humility (sit down, be humble).

So yeah, slavery is/was a thing.  America did it … unlike anyone/anywhere else, but it’s always been a thing.

Those who serve those who lead.

Just thought I’d clear that up.

So, my chill brethren, come to the light side.  The dark is cold, joyless, and eternal.
