Whelp, the end is nigh.

2023 is coming to a close, and not sure how/what methinks about that.

Not that it matters outside of my very own brain box, but still.  Considering.

Last year is/was different than this year, which is good, sort of.

Finished feeding a monkey, no more bananas for Bonzo.

However.

As soon as that monkey was done, a Kong-sized gorilla popped up, and demanded a whole bushel.

Sigh.

Like most things … it’s my own fault, but still.

The pointless struggle of modern life is simply trying.

Truly wears on one’s nerves. 

And there is absolutely no legitimate reason for the mere fact of living to be this difficult.

I mean / I get it.  Masters of mankind want the masses unhappy and burdened. 
That way – too tired to demand change.

I think I read/saw/heard something about how the ruling/luxury/parasitic class needs to keep the working/laboring/maintaining class balanced … fed just enough to keep working, and just hungry enough to be afraid to stop.  No revolution for you, prole …

If I’m not mistaken (prolly am, but whatevs) the French Revolution was the product of the rich taking far too much from the poor, to the point where the poor rose up and ate the rich.

Cake and heads.

Kind of like that influencer (to do what, exactly?) telling her … followers?  Minions?  Sycophants?  To just drop everything and go to Bali, already.  Like, duh!

Ummm … people are working 40 hours a week and still living out of their cars.  Out of touch much?

Saw an article about a guy who lived in his car and did ridesharing … his car got towed for too many parking tickets so he lost his job and his house in one fell swoop, and couldn’t afford to get either back.

I’m not unhappy, per se, just … discontented. 

Most of the time I’m exactly, perfectly content(ed), but the end of the year has me a bit morose.

The habitrail of modern existence does that to a plebe.
