Half is, well …yes.

All the yes.

Simply marveling at the epic awesomeness of my spouse.

Marriage rates are on the decline, and folks are having a hard time folksing up.

MFs are generally self-centered, boss bae trainwrecks, and standard men are abandoned, forgotten, discarded and morose.

Not a good look.

But, that being said, I’m good.

At one point in my life I thought I was good, all alone and untethered and fairly satisfied, and I was done with the whole mating ritual … things hadn’t really worked out … and I let GOD know, I said, “Lord, I’m done.  Not trying to do this by myself anymore, so totally OK with dying alone.  BUT but, if You want to send me someone, could You make sure they have these few things, so that I know that person is sent by You?  Otherwise, the single, celibate life, with a pre-need plan and written burial instructions [green, please], is for me.” 

Well, I asked, and HE answered.  {Matthew 7:7}

Half is exactly what I asked for, and did not even know I needed.

Thank You, GOD.  Awesome, as always and eternal.

So, I was rambling some tune I heard to which I knew not the lyrics but could mumble with the best, and Half told me there was a gospel version of the song I was mangling.  Half shared it with me, so here … consider it a gift.

We put on the whole armor of the King

I’d always considered Kanye to be an overrated blowhard.  His little rant re Taylor Swift v Beyonce at the … Grammys?  MTV awards?  samesame … was adequate proof, for me, of that. 

But then I remember reading about Kanye and his epiphany, with folks wondering if his come to JESUS moments were real, were genuine. 

That song has me convinced. 

And the fact that he was speaking truth to power — Donda was a sacrifice — before he disappeared and then came back quiet … yeah, his “trainer” either had him cloned or lobotomized … either way, the result is the same.

Masters of mankind silence those who tell secrets.  Bread and circuses.

Kanye forgot a debt was still owed, and must needs to perform.  Shut up and rhyme the words given.  Diamonds and cars and oversized megamansions and overpriced attire … that’s what you do. 

The whole world is a stage, just not his.
