Funnily enough, little to no discussion regarding the generational hostile advantages, violent privileges, and brutal entitlements secured by … one particular, specific, certain group … to the perpetual objective and tangible disadvantage of just about every other particular, specific, certain group.

After struggling for months to find a job or even get an interview, brilliant engineer (are there any other kinds?) changed his ethnic-sounding name to something more “westernized” and shortly thereafter got hired.
Read about? / heard about? this anecdotal trope whereby law firm partners were given a sample of a first-year associate’s work and asked to critique it; the partners did not know they were the ones being analyzed. When told that the associate was a “Chad / Chet / Bret / Brad,” the comments tended toward “young man has a future,” “needs a little work but overall well-done,” “inspired, thoughtful, concise.” However, when told that the associate was “Jaheim Jackson Leroi Washington” the observation was resoundingly negative … “fundamental misunderstanding of the application of the law,” “unqualified,” “illegible,” “incomprehensible.” The sample contained the exact same words, on the exact same topic, typed on the exact same piece of paper; the only change was the identity of the author. When confronted, the partners were outraged at being tricked, rather than introspective regarding their blatant, obvious, and undeniable bias.
Also funny? There is/was a school district with a heavy concentration of Khan’sKids, north, south and southeast, and the academic competition became so intense that many of horsemen rode off with their kids to start a whole new district because they just could not compete academically. White Flight 2.0
But it’s all just merit, amirite?
One would think that, if truly innately superior, those making the claim would relish every opportunity to demonstrate the aforesaid innate superiority … not whine and complain that others are stealing that which is rightfully theirs.
Sounds a lot like “diversity” is just dog whistle for “competition” … maybe the horsemen class fears they and theirs will be unable to compete on a level-er playing field. Hmmm …
Had a co-worker once explain the grading system in her household growing up, which (presumably) tends towards typical for that demographic …
A= Acceptable
B = Better not
C = Can’t Come Home
D = Don’t Even Dare
F = Family Forgets You Were Born
Perhaps not a question of innate intelligence, but a heightened expectation of excellence.

Funny/not funny anecdote … there was a certain Dragon Lady trafficking human flesh out of NYC. Sister Ping, or the “mother of all snakeheads” per the FBI, got folks from rural China into US by hook&crook in the ‘80s and ‘90s, and popped up on official radar when 10 people died after a smuggling ship ran aground off Rockaway Beach back in ’93. She fled the US, got caught in Hong Kong — the FBI said if she ever made it back to China she would never be found / total homogeneity does have its benefits.
Which may be why horsemen behave in such a manner … lockstep in looks, thought, and action ensures predictability, and the ability to manage not only expectations but outcomes as well.
However.
If the horsemen wanted to build a nation of horsemen (seeing you 1859’s “whites-only Oregon,” modern-day hotbed of separatism … Keep Portland Weird, indeed) then prolly should have enslaved the Irish, brand the gingers (geddit? just rearrange the letters) with those peculiar badges and incidents.
