This has officially become ridiculous.  Would go shoot the poo-flinging monkey in the face but bullets be pricey.

theKid asked for some random trinket-bauble-doodad on the thing with the stuff, said “yeh,” tried to process the magikal plastic and got denied.

Wat.  This is a six-figure household, waddaya mean “declined”?

And to think this time 2024 was actually feeling financially fine.  Sigh.  See: Drawing board, back to.

Did not realize the extreme level of damage getting scammed does in the longer run.  Half was suitably outraged, almost prognosticatively so … but of course, methoughts were no big deal, work it out over time.

Welp, over time the balances have gotten bigger, the monkeys have swelled, and not quite sure what to do. 

Spending is already at a minimum … prior purchasing history is now in the complete past, but the cost of the day-to-day … groceries, utilities, gas … is starting to logjam.  Sigh.

Will be fine.  Just takes time.  And money.  Lots and lots of money.  Which is most notably in short supply at the moment.

Sigh.

Welp, we are who we are where we are when we are, how we are. 
Just have to deal, and hope the light at the end of the tunnel is not, indeed, a train.

But if it t’were would end the money = misery.  For the dead, all debts are paid. 

Anyhoo … the booming, blooming, blossoming monkey.  In real time …

Totally manageable if that was all there was But OF COURSE THERE’S MOAARRR …  Face-tatted poo-flinger … would curse your rotten-crotched mama but she did nothing but birth you / raise you (or maybe it was monkeys?) so there’s that.

So rough estimated $150K, coming down piece of a dollar by piece of a dollar … not to mention the day-to-day monthlies that must be covered as well … ah, well, c’est la vie.  Life is such. 

And much/most of this is the result of (1) face-tatted poo-flinger and (2) unexpected car costs.  Hard to build an emergency fund when there’s always another emergency.  Sigh. 

There is a plan, however, to take care of most (if not all) of this … will wind up with a single payment err’month but have to fix/feed some of this before doing any of that.
