Celebrated the arrival of theKid earlier this month … asked for a zombie VR experience (yehinorite) accompanied by a few friends. Cake, pizza, festivities and frivolities enjoyed by all.
theKid gave a thumbs-up to the experience so feeling pretty validated. Breeding has its perks.
Speaking of … recent stats indicate the US birthrate has fallen even further under the replacement rate … sitting at around 1.6 per. Oops. Welp, just get the TIFs to fill in/step up, since the Libs claim they qualify as “women.” Seamless, that.
Have skinfolk who considered breeding some years back. Got a dog instead.
No kids but keeps a dog. Travels the world. Plenty of money, time and options. Good folks, them.
However … still wouldn’t swap theKid for a balanced budget.
Through these years have come to realize that having kids is a bit like almost being crushed by a bus, or surviving a plane crash … without personal experience, really is no legitimate point of reference.
Prior to the personal parental odyssey, was fairly neutral on the idea.
Wasn’t opposed to the notion, just not overly committed to it.
Thishowevermanyyearsin … can honestly 100-percent report that theKid is the absolute best part of and thing in life. A little hooman that needs guidance and support and encouragement and discipline, a second chance to get life right. {Isaiah 49:15}
Or if not right … at least better. That smile/joy/laugh is everything.
Half and other half have made tons and tons (and tonnes and tonnes) of mistakes, errors in judgment, blunders, gaffes, and goofs, and must say … theKid is doing awesome in spite.
But.
The world into which theKid was brought? So very not hot. Totally not the business.
And seems to only be getting worse.
David Icke says reptilian extraterrestrials from the lower fourth dimension feed on human anger, pain, and suffering. In consideration of current affairs … he may be right. He also said Princess Di was a pregnant sacrifice to the ancient Babylonian lizard empire, so … yah.
Anyhoo, in these days and times seems the wisest course is simply not to … never miss what is missing. Recommendation? If no kids & ambivalent about having them … do a favor and leave them unborn.
The ether is a much more hospitable place.
As the world descends further into its self-induced madness, it may no longer be possible to provide children with a hopeful future … Millennials and Gen Zs are fairly pissed in/at this age, and (f)rightfully so … an economy in turmoil, a political system designed to only benefit the parasitic class, promises made by prior generations entirely unkept …
Grand/parents bankrupted the hope of their children’s future.
Ask the question: Would you want to be born today?
Move accordingly.
