A 19YO kid in NYC got snatched off the street by ICE for deportation, likely to CECOT.

One problem?  The kid is legally in the states, seeking asylum from the Venezuelan gov’t.

Another 20YO, a natural-born US citizen, non-native English speaker and “illegal immigrant appearing,” was seized by ICE after a Florida traffic stop … his mom had to present a US birth certificate and SS card to the court to secure his release.  Got to go home, but my heavens.

There is a recent video of another guy coming out of court, some good Sams standing around him, but plainclothes, unbadged, masked-face jeans-panted randoms swooped in and cuffed him up. 

Somebody suggested that if anyone wanted to know what German citizens were doing during the Nazi rise to power, need look no further than the United States in 2025.  {3 John 1:5]

Guess that question has been answered.  Sans memes.

Not surprising, really.  The horseman morality there and then is just like here and now …
…  ”Sucks to be that guy.” 
              “Sounds like a personal problem.” 
                             “If they had only just [insert random nonsensical rationalization/justification] …”

Sigh. 

Not mad, not really, just a bit nonplussed over the fact that the 250-year experiment would be dismantled by the same exact folks that put it in place initially.  Powerful politicians, with little restraint.

And there was war, mustn’t forget that. 

Some wit observed that the Orange Menace is backlash (heh) for eight years of ICS in the White House.  Doesn’t explain the one-term CryptKeeper … methinks has more to do with the Dumbocrats propping up females for “their turn” rather than finding the most-electable, middle-ground, eye-candied centrist horseman and just ride with that.

The seeds of ‘Murica were planted in racist/sexist soil … and while some of the horseman-ilk will ride for an ICS dude, the wimmens need not apply. 

Mindset?  There are only three positions for which the female is qualified …

Well, as the architects of our own destruction, we built the house of democratic cards now falling all the way down. 

Nice while lasted, sort of, if for the wealthy, heterosexual horseman, at least.  Been a bit rough for any/everyone else but hey … them’s the breaks.

Wondering what comes next, tho’.  See many folks absconding for greener (bluer?) pastures outside of the US.  Only problem?  Nukes range far and wide. 

No illusions that if the United States truly began to decline, like grid failure, famine, pestilent-level national pandemic, war against the world would soon follow. 

If we can’t have light, heat and food then nobody will.
