OK so this right here is a conscious, decisive effort to be apolitical, asocial, aracial (is that a thing? yes? no?  No matter), agendered … all of that.  Easier to hate everything and everyone equally.  Keeps it simple.

But must say … the ancestral progenitors of the ICS are flexing mad raucous these days.

OK, so on April 12, 2025, in Oak City, North Carolina, the Fort Branch Historical Museum, that offered up quaint little Confederate mementos, tchotchkes – the South will rise again!  Oh wait—no it won’t.
Had a tree fall on the roof, caving in the … structure.  Some say it was a shed, others a hovel.  Insurance inadequate to rebuild.  No matter.  Gone now.

Ok, so on May 15, 2025, in Nottoway, Louisiana, the largest remaining antebellum plantation burned down.  No known cause.  Was used for weddings, bed&breakfasts, and the whitewashing of history.  Interesting factoid?  The outbuilding about 50 feet away?  Untouched.  Hmmm.

The destruction of these peculiar vestiges of Americana tends to make one wonder …

Hey, whatevs.  Thomas Jefferson likely summed it up best:

I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just;
that His justice cannot sleep forever.

He also said “the Bible is the cornerstone of liberty” … so there’s that.  A sage hypocrite.  Nice.
