Slim the Monkey

The reality of limited resources … ahhh … ewww …

Cash & debt, assets & liabilities, income & expenses …

Really.  Can I just live?

Warren Buffett said [and paraphrasing here] that if you work for a living you’ll work until you die.

That is not encouraging.

But then again … it is. America – that troubling, bubbling hot stew of democracy – was, is and for the moment remains a land of opportunity, even if the only opportunity is to stay broke.

But here’s a really, really, REALLY rich guy who bestows a tetch of wise wisdom to the masses, and there it goes, right over everyone’s head.

Well, most of everyone.

Not the “masters of mankind,” obviously.  See Law of Power #7.

Certainly over the collective heads of the Precariat (how rude) … and mine.

Until now, a’cours …  Now, I get it.

Slow, but smart.  heh

SO! the solution is to make MORE money that we don’t like that we don’t spend on stuff we don’t need or if we need we can wait for … don’t-spend-when-spend-spend-smart … I like it

Recently got some rotten fruit to throw at my debt monkey – à la fresh money on stale debt – because it won’t grow on nasty food and that pesky primate is slimming right down … heh

There’s an app for that.

See, stuff can make money, and put that debt monkey to work.  I like it.

Using Mercari right now, might branch out (aHHAHAHAAHAoh, just me? Wellthen nevermind) and try some of the others (LetItGo, OfferUp, Tradesy, etc.) but in a few weeks made a tidy grand selling crap I bought with a click elebenty-hunnert daze ago.

Didn’t even have to work that hard.  Pictures, words, price … whah-lah!  Money.  I like it.

Nice.  Adventures of the Monkey Side Hustle.  I like it.
