Feels … all the Feels.

GOD uses skeptics to create believers and encourage the faithful.  How very neat. 

Case in point:  Eben Alexander, MD.  Brain surgeon, highly educated, full of science.  After an unexplained brain fever he dies, has a total death experience, ACTUALLY MEETS THE SISTER ADOPTED AWAY FROM HIM WHO HE NEVER MET BEFORE SHE DIED, comes back to tell his tale and now says grace before every meal.

That’s right.

And over here we have Howard Storm, college professor and self-professed all-around jerk kind of a guy, believed that status and stuff was the way of life, dies in a foreign hospital from some stomach something, goes to actual hell and after being eviscerated by demons he invokes the Name of Christ and gets rescued by JESUS HIS VERY SELF and now is preaching the Gospel.  Oh, and he met a real angel, too.  Said he was beautiful.  

Now, there’s one more highly book smart, totally educated guy –Sebastian Junger – who dies (lost, like, all of his blood due to internal belly bleed) and hasn’t yet been converted BUT he does have a whole lot of questions (maybe should probably start asking the right ones DIGRESS) and his discussion with Joe Rogan is actually pretty interesting. Said he’s still a total atheist but remembers when he died there was this cold, black hole opening under his feet full of very bad things and he knew — in his death — that he didn’t want to go “there.”

Just goes to show … we, all of us, the faithful and the unbeliever, the atheist and the redeemed, we all belong to Him, and He uses us as He sees fit.  And always to His Good.

Yaa-ay!

And to tie this back into debt … He paid all of our debts {Romans 4:4}, so I think we owe Him … everything.  Debt Monkey be damned (oh, it is … it is.  Double yaa-ay!)
