Eternally Safe

Didja see Death Valley flooded?  Had eleventy-hunnert inches of rain fall in 42 seconds or whatever.

Nice.

It’s also 500 degrees in India, Pakistan, and the Middle East, soon to become real estate that is incompatible with human life.  Read somewhere that we (humans we) can only tolerate a max temp of 120° F / 50 ° C, with 95-percent humidity, before we start to die.

Oops.

And eastern Kentucky (my goodness why) is underwater … but I did see an inspirational story about a woman who saved her furbaby with a sofa cushion and plastic bin.

Good on her.

Saw video of a Benz red-light running at a La Brea x Slauson and making a fiery crash that killed five (including a pregnant woman on her way to a check-up, her fiancée and 11-month-old toddler).

A beluga whale was spotted in the Seine River (France) about 1200 miles from its usual habitat.  The creature is starving to death, and looking for food.  Shortly, it will die.

Wow … this is … wow.

China is angry re the Nancy dance in Taiwan, and sabre-rattling as a result.

Israel and Palestine are throwing arms at each other, and it’s getting worse.

The planet’s billionaires are financing escapes to other planets., and polluting the exosphere in consequence.

Richard Wurmbrand was a Romanian priest who was beaten and imprisoned for 14 years, who — to secure his freedom and stop the torture —needed only to renounce his faith in Christ Jesus.

He never did.

He bore wounds to his feet that prevented him from walking upright, and without pain, for the rest of his life.

But he never stopped praying, and believing, and holding his faith.

Ultimately, he was released, and even managed to convert some of his jailers.  {Matt. 5:44}

As bad as things may get, as deep as the hole may go, as hard as it becomes … hold on.

HE’s got you.
