School’s back in session.

Wat joy

Spent a ridiculous amount of cash on stuff for theKid and theKid deserves every cent spent.

We live in a place with a public school located across the street … like, walking in house shoes and PJs close. 

But.

It’s public.

And every weekday morning around 8 and afternoon around three we get to see the … quality of modern parenting flood the street.

Ah, no.  theKid will stay private, thankyouverymuch.

Gotta be elitist when it comes to education, particularly since public school refuses to admit GOD.

What a mistake that is.

I mean, I get it.  Separation of church and state.  Establishment of religion.  First Amendment basics.

But.

Baby with the bathwater?  Anyone?  Anyone? 

Got to ask if vaccinated, so … why not ask re faith of the household? 

If Christian, keep GOD all up in there.

If Muslim, go with Allah.

If Jewish, no Saturday field trips.

If Hindi(u/), bring a cow, I guess.

If nothing, then … nothing. 

But at least have one class that teaches the fundamentals of religion to young kids so they get a background to work with, ‘cuz right now they’re just walking on spiritual wires with no net.

Even atheists have morals.  Based on what, exactly, is unclear – so where does right/wrong come from?  It’s innate.  YehOK but how/where? 

Little kids light fires in closets ‘cuz they know they’re not supposed to do that. 

Even those two British kids (10 at the time) who killed three-year-old Jamie Bulger lured him away from his mother (to rub paint in his eyes and stone him to death) ‘cuz they knew they weren’t supposed to do those things.  They’re out now, have been for a while, with new legal identities and everything but will go to their graves as the murderers of a child. 

So where does that knowledge of right and wrong come from?  {Romans 2:15}

That’s why insanity is so hard to prove ALL THOUGH that woman in Texas who drowned her five kids because she said GOD told her to (HE did no such thing but maybe?) did get a new trial because the crah-hay-hay-zee but I digress—

Legal insanity is the lack of knowledge between right and wrong, and concealment of wrongdoing is, in and of itself, knowledge of wrong. 

Seems these days the world has gone mad. 

Up = Down

Right = Wrong

Man = Woman, although, funnily enough, the opposite argument has not been offered … no one is arguing transpersons identifying male should be allowed to compete in men’s sports … perhaps it’s all those pesky biological differences … onward!

Sex = Relationship; kind of but not actually because these days folks exchange fluids before names (shivers)

A little moral teaching and instruction could help reverse the trend but methinks, somehow, someone will dispute, What is moral?

Funny – GOD made it so each finger can serve a reminder … Thou shalt ….

And — easily — the moral law of the Bible transcends any religion.

Maybe we owe a debt to our children to teach each one.  Again.
