Got to thinking (always dangerous) about the difference in a woman who demands to be a wife before becoming a mother, and a woman who defaults to babymama (aka “BM” coz her life has turned to sh—).
A woman’s greatest weakness is her only weapon — the ability, desire/willingness to breed. Unlike the sea louse, and women in FES, there is still a choice.
It occurs to me that perhaps feminism has cheapened the status of women/womanhood … per Steinem, “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle …” until there’s war, or a home invasion, or a scary walk home, THEN a woman needs a man to step in/up/out in front, but —then again — most of those scary circumstances are initiated by men, so there’s that.
War in Ukrainianism? News portrayed women hiding out/taking off with the kids while the men go off to die in victory and valor. Well, there is that.
And, in all fairness, only need a few men for every several women to keep the species populated, so there is a method to this madness, but still.
So, again, women who are fine with Hester Prynne status and those who demand more … such as legal recognition of the relationship, legitimacy for the children, and repercussions if the union ends. {Proverbs 31:10} ‘Bout that wife life.
Babymama? Not so much. Mama’s baby stays daddy’s maybe.
Although with marriage there’s no absolute guarantee — Texas? Illinois? One of those states declares any child born to a married woman belongs to her husband, full stop. DNA be damned. But marriage is designed to protect her and the kids. Alimony and child support and ad infinitum … “Haf! I want haf Ehddie!”
May have mentioned around these parts there was a guy, long-haul trucker, thought he had four kids with his wife. Turns out, only had one … other three belonged to the neighbor.
A whorish wife is a husband’s worst nightmare. Cuckold and stuck paying for kids sans blood tie [shudders]
There was a recent video about the Godfather (sorry Rollo) having a discussion with a woman who was a 27-year-old, four (yes, four) -time babymama with a dude who had another kid from a previous relationship (for those counting … 2-time babydaddy with five kids, two different women [shudder/cringe!]) who wanted to know why her dude – with whom she shared a home, children, and bed — would not marry her.
The Godfather simply told her … “Because you didn’t demand it.”
Now, for all intents and purposes, the prospect of a better/more improved life (for her, anyway) is over, and she got what she got. Deal.
Women who breed indiscriminately are very deserving of distain … they ask for nothing but penis and receive precisely that.
Which is why MFs (i.e., “modern women”) are such a trainwreck.
When marriages were arranged and women traveled solely from the house of their father to the house of their husband, better decisions were made, collectively.
Society as a whole recognized the debt owed by women and insisted they pay it. {Gen. 3:6}
Now, women are breeding with Chad, Tyrone and Javier, getting pumped, dumped, and bitter, claiming all men are awful when it’s really only just the guys she likes. It was her freedom of choice to select Chad, Tyrone and Javier that brought her to her life.
Oops. Toxic masculinity (oppressive patriarchy, whatevs) seems to be the panacea society is desperate for, ‘coz we are in a reproductive mess.
There’s another guy Sosnick, marginally interesting, little too much 80s Tom Cruise/Gordon Gecko vibes methinks but whatevs, has a podcast “Valuetainment Money,” where he recently very generally discussed divorce with a 20-year divorce attorney and how destructive the process it is for men (loss of equity in home, retirement, assets … loss of access to income, kids, respect, identity, etc.) moreso than women.
And of course this 20-nothing MF (see above) had to interject, “Well, women lose in divorce too!” And of course her opinion was based on feelings, outliers, and uninformed conjecture than any real world, objective, observable facts that apply to the general as opposed to the tangential.
At this point, it seems MFs just want to claim victimhood without any real victimization, just so they can pull the oppression card.
The good news? Dr. Nicholas Eberstadt (Dr. Nick), painfully smart guy, talks about population implosions, and basically how MFs are declining to reproduce. More Millenials, Gen Zs (the Zombie Generation) are either delaying or avoiding parenthood entirely, and by 2040 approximately 50 percent of women in the West will be single and childless.
Always look for the silver lining.
Which, personally methinks, is a really good thing, because most children born today will likely starve to death or perish from some climate-related change or be killed/possibly eaten in the upcoming famine.
So irresponsible to breed post-2000 (self included/my apologies to theKid … the 2011 earthquake/tsunami/nuclear catastrophe should have been the heads-up) but, like babymamas, the damage is done.
The purpose of life is to try … to try to get it right, and not to repeat the mistakes.
