Discovered a wonderful new kitchen appliance.

A little about me … I like tools, and guns, and trucks, and dogs. 
And Half, most of the time.  And theKid, always.

Anyhoo, theKid offers up ideas on the regular because … y’know … kid, and most of those ideas involve spending when I should not but can’t help because … y’know … theKid, so when theKid suggested a recipe for which another tool was required, did not heed all of the LORD’s advice (stop spending) but did listen to some (spend wisely).

So went and bought a deep fryer … didn’t think I’d get much use, maybe the occasional hot fried something or other but nothing regular.

However.

THAT little gizmo has ROI’d all over and up in here.  And no debt ‘coz paid with cash (nice)

And the fries are delicious.  theKid actually asks for repeats. 

Chicken wings.  Lumpia.  And lumpia!  Potatoes (all the potatoes) are best, but other stuff is quite excellent as well.

Might not seem like a big thing to those on the outside looking in (see me waving from the window – “Hi!”) but it’s all the things, the large and the small, the recognition of blessings when bearing witness to the homeless, the struggling, those wrongfully convicted for decades then finally set free …

And while I am sad, and do lament, hardships suffered by others, I am always comforted.

All good things, small and great, flow by, through, and from HIM.

Just wanted to say that today. 

HE makes the yoke so easy.  Because HE bears it for us all.
