Joe is Legend

Must say … highly impressed.

The CryptKeeper will def go down in history as one of the greatest.

Totally self-sacrificed.  Gotta say … much respect.  To step away from the most powerful position(well, one of) on the planet?  For the good of the nation?  Recognizing that yes, you are the problem?

Mad props.

The final nail in the coffin (so to speak) was likely that bug diagnosis … what did it get him / three, four times?  And all vaxxed up, boosters ‘n all no less.

Anyhoo, good on Joe.  The HalfNot is way worse, but at least she’s not balding.  And the nonsense she spouts is memeable, at the least. As the viable alternative to the Orange Menace, which me must say seems to be floundering of late. Err’body got choices, even if both are bad.

Well, politics is all about the lesser of evils.  Guess we get transrights codified at the federal level rather than Project 2025.

Guillotine or firing squad?  Just call me Gary Gilmore.

Anyhoo … on to another legendary Joe, Joe Ledger.  Jonathan Maberry is one of the unsung greats, his plotlines stay exciting, his characters forever engaging.  Harvey Rabbit, indeed.  Dunno how old Top is, but the guy’s still kicking butt at 80.

Nice.

Any of Mr. Maberry’s books – both YA and standard fiction – are worth a romp.

Just finished Relentless and while it’s starting to get a little … out there … the threats he creates are still very plausible.

Zombie virus / race-based bioweapons (inbreeding is always such a problem) gives off some very Wuhan vibes but out of the smoking frying pan that is the Middle East … and why come it’s in the middle, when both the Far East and the Near East of east of it?  Shouldn’t it be called the “Close East” or “Western East” or something?  Might not like that last one, whatwith the West branded “the Great Satan” and all.  Love how Egypt got co-opted right off the Continent.  But not Ethiopia.  Hmm, thoughts.

Anyhoo, highly recommend any and all of Mr. Maberry.  Look him up.  Both the Jungle Store and in-person (while it still lasts … sigh).
