Eat … THIS! – Crack Brownies

Yup.  Still fat.  Still working on not being that but not too hard … trying to pace meesef. 

Thus, ergo … in these most bitter of times, methinks we (you [Other Person You], me, us, all) deserve a little tasty morsel of the ultimate in moistly most deliciousness.  Here:  have a crack brownie.


               Dark Fudge Brownie Mix — prep per instructions (egg, water, oil)
               (or other basic dark fudge brownie mix but keep it basic and make it dark fudge
             none of that milky nonsense and nothing fancy [seeing you Ghirardelli Double/Triple/
               Salted Caramel (~why tho’~)/Walnut Turtle(~wat?~)/ … stop … just … stop])

               Dark chocolate chips — ½ to ¾ cup / 120 ml to 180 ml (for the overseas heathens)
               (Hershey’s or Nestle or whatever works … but keep ‘em dark)

               Kahlua Rum & Coffee Liqueur — ¼ cup / 60 ml (see above)

Mix the mix first then mix in the chips, mix well the Kahlua.

Preheat oven to 350° F / 180° C

Prep a baking pan 8×13 or 9×13 / (mathing ain’t) …
Suggested technique?  Line with foil then spray foil with nonstick / easy clean!

Spread that wet ‘n raw chocolate deliciousness – much as might want don’t eat the batter! – into pan,
pan in oven …

Now here’s the funky part … can’t use the baking time on the box ‘cuz extras! so rough 24 minutes works in mine own oven, YMMV … bake until a butter knife comes out comfortably clean … little choco-bits OK
but avoid the brown sludge = five more minutes, maybe

Remove when done, let cool THEN, oh THEN … cut into 1-inch (not doing that math) cubes and enjoy.  Don’t try to eat a big chunk of crack brownie because chocolate deliciousness overdose is not as fun as it sounds, and the mouth will gum

Partake with milk, Pepsi or other cola of choice, coffee and.or tea … and you are welcome.
