Dunno if it will be as all bad as predicted, buuuuuuttttt … we do have direct past experience so very likely to be quite horrid.
Saw that a federal judge in WA recently just threw out $200M (yes, that is million) in punitive damages awarded to a member of the Ice Cream Social for workplace discrimination (horsemen sup called him “boy”) and pretextual dismissal (fired his ahhh for some non), said the jury acted “unreasonably” … likely will get rid of the other $40M (yes, that is million) in emotional distress damages too.
Guess brown can’t do for you. And black robes will do even less.
Marts of wall recently announced it was canceling all of its DEI initiative policies, won’t help those businesses that need it the most, will continue to be an all-consuming oligarch of consumer commerce … no help for you, wrongly-shaded/sexed plebe. Ice Cream Social supposedly staging a boycott, á la Montgomery? Guess gonna be strutting right on over to Tarchét … see how that works out.
The Ancients running the nation banned FaceTok or InstaTik in the US bc reasons … federal judge (surprise not) upheld the ban. Rationale? US comps can data mine US citz, but the Chinese? Not so much. Guess the 1st Amendment fails to apply when it affects the $$$ … seems FaceGram and Twits cannot compete, the algorithm is waaaaaaay better, folks like what ByteDance is doing but the corporate governance would rather offer substandard and simply block the better option.
